Events

Many things changed for the BACPS when COVID struck. Now we are even better with more meetings both in person and virtually.

There are generally 4 kinds of events. All are open and you do not have to be a member to attend:

  • Virtual, zoom meetings – often featuring speakers from around the world!

  • In-person meetings/meet ups – These meetings feature live and sometimes virtual speakers. They often include plant sales. We broadcast them live via Zoom when we can and they are held around the bay at major venues such as the Randall Museum, UC Botanical Gardens Berkeley, the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco and other places.

  • Pop-Up Meetings – These are regional meeting held around the Bay Area. They are at places like S27 Brewery in San Jose.

  • BACPS Annual Show and Sale – This huge event was among the first and for a long time was the largest event of it’s kind. It continues to grow every year and features dozens of hobby and professional vendors with thousands of plants.

Things sometimes get shifted around due to speaker availability so check our Facebook page and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
